Day 1 of our 3 day accredited Hot Stone Massage course went really well.  We covered the theory in the morning and then it was straight into a demontration of the massage followed by practice, practice and even more practice by the students.

1 day accredited Thai foot massage course - Sun 28th March 2010 or Sun 26th Sept 2010. Cost £140.  Deposit of £50 secures your place.

2 day accredited hot stone course - Sat 29th & Sun 30th May 2010 or Sat 27th & Sun 28th Nov 2010. Cost £300.  Deposit of £100 secures your place.

1 day certificated Reiki 1st degree course - Sat 24th April 2010 or Sat 23th Oct 2010. Cost £140.  Deposit of £50 secures your place.

1 day accredited Reiki 2nd degree course -Sun 25th April 2010 or Sun 24th Oct 2010. Cost £160.  Deposit of £50 secures your place. 

2 day accredited Diploma in Indian head massage- Sat 27th & Sun 28th Feb 2010 or Sat 28th & Sun 29th Aug 2010. Cost £200. Deposit of £60 secures your place.

1 day accredited Diploma in ear candling - Sat 27th Mar 2010 or Sat 25th Sept 2010. Cost £140.  Deposit of £50 secures your place.

Last Sundays Reiki 1st degree course was as ever a massive success and Five Human would like to thank Allison, Tracy, Karen, Ruth, Sean, and Raquel (the students) for their contribution.  Their energy and enthusiasm helped to make the day such a hit. We would also like to say thanks for the more than positive feedback given by students at the end of the day and we look forward to seeing you all on your Reiki 2nd degree course!  

Having been asked almost constantly about training courses since opening the shop and therapy rooms we decided last year (2008) to do something about it, and after much research and reading we eventually put pen to paper and wrote the first of Five Human training courses. 

To date we have approved by the Complementary Medical Association courses in Indian head massage, ear candling, hot stone massage, Thai foot massage, and Reiki 1st and 2nd degree. We also have continual professional development points (CPD points) attached to each of our courses.  

Five Human courses are designed to suit both the experienced therapist and those new to complementary therapies.  We currently run our courses at the weekends and we keep our numbers quite small, usually with only six attendees. There is a good balance between theory and practice and the majority of our courses have case studies attached. We pride ourselves on making Five Human courses fun and informative.
